Finding Out More About Our Curriculum
Our curriculum documentation provides a breakdown of the curriculum content in each academic year for every subject. This breakdown ensures that our curriculum meets all of the requirements of the National Curriculum and that the content is well-sequenced, enabling children to build on prior knowledge and make effective links between topics within the same subject, as well as meaningful links between different subjects.
We recognise the valuable contribution that parents and carers can make to their child’s learning so we regularly share information about our curriculum through a variety of ways:

Regular updates and photographs of children’s learning through our regular updates on Facebook and our half-termly newsletters (which can be found within the 'Latest News' page of our website).

Information about upcoming learning through the half-termly Year Group Newsletters.

Regular communication with parents about curriculum days, trips and events and how these experiences aim to enrich the curriculum and support children’s learning within the subject.

Regular opportunities to visit the school and look at children’s work, either on display or in their books.

Class assemblies for parents/carers.
However, we also invite parents, prospective parents and members of the public to contact the school if they would like to learn more about the curriculum we offer, as we welcome the opportunity to share the wonderful learning that takes place in our school.
